WHY RELIGION MATTERS - REVISITED

In our last issue, we examined the claims made on the Ammanford Ecclesial website that “We are all the same in God’s eyes.  Our skin colour or religion do not make us any different to anyone else.”  Subsequently, the Recording Brother advises me that this position is not held by the the ecclesia, and agrees that this statement was not correct.  The ecclesia has taken steps to amend their publishing procedures, to ensure that what is published in the future accurately reflects the ecclesial position.  They advise that this web page has been removed.  We accept that the Ammanford Ecclesia has dealt with the issue appropriately, and as well as they are able to, given the circumstances.  We understand that the Ammanford ecclesial position is as expressed in the BASF, and are pleased to know that the issue is being resolved.
